Solar Soul

Heater, burning, glowing bright
Dwarfing darkness in bright light.
Warmer, Life-bringing, melting gray
Charcoal darkness going ‘way.

The flowers begin to bloom,
and the static creatures rise
The snow turns into rain
And life pours from the skies.

The hourglass is filling,
More icing to the cake.
A frown becomes a smile,
Another reason to stay awake.

The Sun is so powerful,
The Sun is so strong
But soon the sun gets sleepy
And the moon will come along

And with the moon comes darkness
A darkness oh so black
It eats up all the heat
In a global snack attack.

But since the night is short,
This time of the year
We don’t mind one bit
In fact it’s good to hear.

Heater, burning, glowing bright
Dwarfing darkness in bright light.
Warmer, Life-bringing, melting gray
Exit night and welcome day.
