Where freedom begins

Behind every mind
A Buddha blissfully meditates
Outside of time
He patiently waits
When we dream
god awakens
We're irrational machines
Fractured creations
We are
The collective conscience divided
Suffering from
Me-me-itis
Wake up 
the child inside us
Will the fire of compassion 
Ever Ignite us?
Enlighten us?
And end society's bipolar disorder
Its consumer schizophrenia,
Economic depression,
the rampant celebrity mania.
May the mirror of apathy
Shatter to pieces
A new reflection of ourselves 
blameless, not shameless.
A departure from sameness
Spiritual revolution 
To cleanse identity confusion 
Born from within
The place where freedom begins
