"Your Heart Will Always be Mine"

In another life she lost her name in the cracks of madness
But a big fish eventually caught her swimming in a sea of starfish
She sobered up quick enough
To know that feeling called love
He was her perfect hope
And things became better amongst all the confusion of living
They took turns taking but she preferred giving
A happy universe, she found herself replaced
From shame into grace a new smile found her face
A rose is a flower that represents many emotions
She was the rose bush that blossomed devotion
She loved him for he was her savior
The midnight darkness of depression finally over
They lived a long one together
And at the time of their finish
They promised each other
Their love would not ever diminish.
From this life to the next
They traveled through time
She said “God, I love you!”
He said “Your heart will always be mine.”
