Ecclesiastically Decisive

Greatest gifts God showers down upon the few, the faithful followers of The Word
Golden promises and answered wishes blown off the wings of mighty birds
Meet the maker of expansive dreams that prophets said would hear
Their yearning voices of all children transmitted through minds, hearts and tears
Penance passed on virtues laid before Him, He who shall judge the exposure
Deliverance on the assertion of salvation in tune to a timely closure

Moments elapsed from beginning to departure mark the way to an end
He shall not shelter the wicked or unkind for any time and in this He will not bend
His is everything in existence in heaven and on Earth
The metric for time's beginning at the universe's birth

So they ponder of Him with overwhelming hope in careful contemplation 
Monks,nuns, priests, popes, gurus, shamans and those knowing truth from spiritual realizations
Do we share the sentiment of the passive and patient man?
Some doubt the word of scripture, but I know that I can't.
