Fresh decay
Nothing quite like it!
Mold green and dead grey
Moist and stagnant
while bacteria play
Moldy cheese
Moldy bread
Moldy sneeze
Moldy head
Moldy trees
Underneath a dead stump
oozing and damp
or from out an elephant's rump
steaming and warm
the bacteria bump and jump
Festering filthy mess
The life that is there
is disgusting at best
yet we need it to exist
like insects and all the rest
Mold is, and always will be
my favorite fungus
