Just sweet

"I love you" was all I could say as I saw her smile
She always brings the good kind of tears to me
"Can I stay a while?"
I begged her imploringly

She says "yes" with her eyes
but she vocalizes no
She knows why grown men cry
more than I will ever know

For my heart is hers to hold
she captures me
We will grow old
together happily

I know that she plays her game
The cuteness on her face
Ferocious lion that I am she makes me tame
Tonight I stay at her place

What words omit laughter fills
As we get to talking
I use all my skills to show her thrills
And then we go a walking

Around her private lake
with swans a swimming
Love then we make
on grass that's rather giving

We hear beautiful sounds
From her place
As we continue our rounds
with smiles on our face
I say "This is truly living!"
